What is a Joint Account?
A Joint Account is shared by two individuals, who have equal access to the funds and are equally responsible for any fees or charges associated with the account. Both parties can perform transactions, but each is equally liable for the account's activity.
How to open a Joint Account
Follow these steps to open a Joint Account with Vantage:

Ensure both parties have Individual Accounts
Before opening a Joint Account, both parties interested in opening a Joint Account should each have their individual live trading accounts registered separately with Vantage.

Sign up for an Individual Account
If you do not already have an individual account, you can sign up a live trading account here.

Provide a unique email address
To create a Joint Account, you will need to provide us with a new email address that is not already registered with Vantage. This unique email address will be linked to your Joint Account.

Submit the application
Reach out to our Support Team via email at support@vantagemarkets.co.uk with the subject line “Joint Account Application”. In this email, include the following details:
- The new, unique email address you wish to link to the Joint Account.
- The UIDs of both parties’ live accounts, located in the top-right corner of the client portal.
- Proof of identity (e.g., passport, national identity card).
- Proof of residential address (e.g., utility bill, bank statement)Note that both proof of identity and proof of residential address should meet the criteria, you may refer to the section provided here for more details.

Document review & application processing
Our team will review your application and documentation promptly. Typically, the processing time for a Joint Account application is within 1 business day. This may vary based on the completeness of the submitted documents.

Account confirmation
Once your Joint Account is successfully created, you will receive confirmation via email. This email will include login details for accessing your Joint Account.
